To connect Clients and Translators effectively, we collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: Name, email address, password, phone number, and profile picture.
- Translator Profiles: Professional credentials, certifications, CVs, spoken languages,
and biography.
- Communications & Chat: Messages, files, and documents exchanged between Clients and
Translators within the app's chat feature.
- Transaction Information: Record of requests, translations completed, and transaction
statuses.
- Device & Log Data: IP address, device type, operating system version, and Firebase Push
Notification tokens (used to send you notifications).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Facilitate connections and communications between Clients and Translators.
- Manage user accounts and provide customer support.
- Send push notifications for chat messages, request updates, and system alerts.
- Improve application functionality, safety, and performance.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. Your information is shared only under these circumstances:
- Between Users: Clients see a Translator’s public profile. Once a job is accepted,
translators and clients can communicate and share translation documents.
- Service Providers: We share data with third-party service providers (such as Firebase
for backend database & push notifications, Sentry/Crashlytics for crash reporting) strictly to help
operate the application.
- Legal Requirements: If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by
public authorities in Algeria.
4. Data Security
We implement standard industry security measures (including secure storage and encrypted HTTPS transit) to
protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic
storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We keep your data as long as your account is active.
- Account Deletion: You can request account deletion directly through the app settings or
by
contacting us at contact@wasslago.com. Upon request, your account is immediately
deactivated, and your personal data will be automatically and permanently deleted from our active
databases and backups within 90 days.
6. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new
Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
